We’re excited to welcome you to the 9th Grade Grandparents Day Lunch on April 16th, at 12:20 pm! A few helpful reminders as you prepare for the day: Parking Information: Parking is available on campus by the cafeteria and the main building. The side street near campus is Montana Ave., where additional street parking is available if campus spots are full. We kindly advise not parking behind the gym, as it is a farther walk from the check-in area in the cafeteria. A campus map is included below to help guide you as you arrive. Gates will open and check-in will begin at 11:45 AM in the cafeteria. We kindly ask that you do not arrive before this time, as staff will be preparing and unable to check guests in early. We kindly ask all grandparents to bring lunch for themselves and their granddaughter(s) . Lunch may be anything you choose—fast food, takeout, or homemade. Upon check-in, you’ll receive a special event sticker — this will serve as your event pass, so please keep it visible for the duration of your visit. Please don’t worry about locating your granddaughter — our 9th graders will be released from class to meet you directly in the cafeteria . Dessert will be provided by the Parents Club. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

$3.5M to Incarnate Word Hall—The Largest Gift in School History This extraordinary investment will help bring to life a new center for faith formation on Chapelle’s campus. Incarnate Word Hall will include a new chapel large enough for grade level liturgies, along with six theology classrooms designed to deepen students’ understanding of their faith. The building will also serve as a gathering place for the Chapelle community and will invite alumnae to return to campus to celebrate weddings and baptisms. Mrs. Benson’s generosity reflects her longstanding commitment to Catholic education and her belief in the importance of forming future generations of women leaders. Through this gift, she joins the many supporters helping Archbishop Chapelle High School continue its legacy of educating young women rooted in faith. "Mrs. Benson’s gift is not only remarkable in its generosity, it is a profound statement of faith in our students, our faculty, and the future of this school," said Head of School Connie Dantagnan '88. "Her commitment will help ensure that generations of young women will continue to grow in knowledge, faith, and leadership within these walls."

2026 Chapelle Makes A Difference Day 🌟 25 Agencies. One Mission. Endless Impact. 💚 Chapelle’s annual Makes A Difference Day once again brought our entire student body into the heart of the community for a day rooted in service, compassion, and purpose. This year, our Chipmunks partnered with 25 incredible organizations across Louisiana, dedicating their time and energy to meeting real needs and forming meaningful connections. From environmental stewardship and hands‑on service projects to spending time with residents, supporting teachers, organizing donations, and assisting local ministries, our students truly served as the hands and feet of Christ throughout the day. Whether offering a helping hand or simply sharing a smile and conversation, the impact was felt far beyond a single afternoon. This powerful tradition reflects the heart of a Chapelle education—forming young women who lead with faith, act with compassion, and serve with joy. We are incredibly proud of the way our students continue to step beyond our campus walls to make a difference where it matters most. Agencies We Served This Year: GreenLight The Woodlands Conservancy Coastal Roots Loop NOLA Covenant Nursing Home St. Margaret's at Mercy Retirement Home The Blake at Colonial Club Laurel Senior Living Chateau De Notre Dame St. Edwards School St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Good Shepherd Nativity School St. Benilde School Chateau Estates School Chartwell Center St. Michael Special School St. Therese Academy Magnolia Community Services Hotel Hope Ozanam Inn Giving Hope NOLA New Orleans Mission Hagar's House Junior League of New Orleans Diaper Bank Lantern Light Ministries We are grateful to these organizations for welcoming our students and allowing us to serve alongside them. Makes A Difference Day reminds us that when Chipmunks come together with one mission, the impact is truly endless. 💚

Celebrating Our 2026 Gifted & Talented Scholars Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to recognize nine exceptional students who participated in the 2026 Gifted and Talented Program. This program provides students with an exceptional ability or talent the opportunity to design and complete a specialized project outside of the traditional classroom setting. Each project is rooted in original ideas and reflects the creativity, passion, and dedication of its creator. This year’s projects were nothing short of inspiring: 💚Ryleigh Beck Ryleigh created a website‑based study guide covering the fundamentals of neuroscience. Designed for both current students and those simply interested in learning more, her site makes complex neurological concepts accessible and engaging. 💚Kathleen Elmer Kathleen developed a comprehensive Latin I and Latin II grammar guide, complete with detailed explanations of key concepts necessary for success in both courses. Her guide serves as a valuable academic resource for fellow students. 💚Ella Growl Ella designed a Gothic‑style chapel concept plan, incorporating engineering and architectural skills into a detailed scale model. Her portfolio piece demonstrates advanced building design techniques using cardboard and cardstock. 💚Caroline LaHatte Caroline authored a book highlighting the achievements and resilience of women in American politics. Her work emphasizes the importance, determination, and lasting impact of women who have shaped our government despite facing significant challenges. 💚Allie Mixon Allie wrote and illustrated a children’s rhyme book titled Practice, Patience, and Prayer. The book gently helps young readers understand and support loved ones living with Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Diabetes, combining education with hand‑drawn illustrations and themes of resilience and hope. 💚Ashley Garcia‑Morera Ashley created From Our Table to Yours: Stories of Latina Strength and Sazón, a collection of authentic recipes paired with powerful personal stories from Latina women. Each dish celebrates resilience, love, and the preservation of culture. 💚Margaux Mouton Margaux developed a website showcasing 16 New Orleans‑area authors, featuring biographies, book descriptions, purchasing links, and full interviews with select writers — shining a spotlight on local literary talent. 💚 Yara Zeitoun Yara designed and hand‑sewed a collection of G‑tube covers for pediatric patients, providing comfort and softness for children who rely on feeding tubes due to developmental delays, medical conditions, or other health challenges. 💚Peyton Klotz & Camryn McGregor Peyton and Camryn collaborated on a website exploring how Autism Spectrum Disorder presents in females. Their project addresses why ASD in girls is often overlooked and emphasizes the importance of awareness and early recognition. Each of these projects reflects not only remarkable talent but also compassion, leadership, and intellectual curiosity. From neuroscience and architecture to literature, healthcare, advocacy, and cultural storytelling, our students have used their gifts to inform, inspire, and serve others. Congratulations to all who participated in the 2026 Gifted and Talented Program. Thank you for your outstanding work and for representing Chapelle with such excellence.

Keeping Fr idays FUN! One Friday per month, we have a Fun Friday assembly where we honor those students who really shined this month! We are so proud of our Chipmunks for making their mark in the community. Talented Art Students We are thrilled to share that 38 Chapelle students have been accepted for publication in this year’s anthology — an incredible accomplishment, as being invited to publish means their work ranked in the top 30% of all entries submitted. In addition, our school has received the Art Achievement Award, presented to schools whose overall submissions demonstrate exceptionally high merit. Because of the number of students selected, Chapelle will receive a complimentary copy of the publication, and both our students and our school will receive special recognition in the book. Trusting Their Crazy Idea: Anita Li ’26 & Rachael Flores ’26 Launch MedExplore As part of the 2026 Trust Your Crazy Ideas Program, juniors Anita Li ’26 and Rachael Flores ’26 turned their shared passion for medicine into an innovative tool designed to help students discover their future careers. Their project, MedExplore, is a medical career exploration app created specifically for high school and undergraduate students interested in entering the medical field. Choosing a career in medicine can feel overwhelming — with so many specialties, pathways, and educational requirements to consider. MedExplore simplifies that journey by starting with a personalized quiz that matches users with medical careers based on their lifestyle preferences, strengths, and work environment goals. But the app doesn’t stop at a simple match. MedExplore offers realistic, curated medical simulations that replicate the day-to-day experiences of various specialties — from pediatrics to respiratory therapy and beyond. These hands-on simulations allow students to virtually step into a role and gain a clearer understanding of what that career truly entails. To further support aspiring medical professionals, the app also includes: - Monthly scholarship opportunities - Internship listings (available through premium subscription) - Video interviews with medical professionals sharing real-world insights about their careers Through MedExplore, Anita and Rachael aim to empower students with clarity, confidence, and access to meaningful opportunities. Their vision is simple yet powerful: help students find not just a medical career, but the right medical career for them. Their project beautifully reflects the heart of the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Program — seeing a need, daring to innovate, and creating something that could truly impact others. MedExplore: Helping students find their future — and a medical career that fits.

  • Event Sign Up for Visitors on Campus

In light of recent events around our country, we will be increasing security around our campus. While these measures may be of some inconvenience, I want to reiterate that our number one priority is the safety of the young ladies on this campus.

Events will no longer just be open. EVERY EVENT (pep rallies, masses etc.) will require you to digitally sign up via a link that will be found in Chipmunk Tracks. If you are not signed up, then you will have to check in at the front office.

Each event may look different focusing on the safety of our students, visitors, and employees. Please be patient as we work out this new system.

  • Bullying/Harassment Policy

Bullying is a distinctive pattern of repeatedly and deliberately harming and humiliating others and is characterized by a power imbalance between the two parties. Bullying includes, but is not limited to physical or verbal aggression, relational aggression, or emotional aggression (teasing, threatening, and intimidating others). Relational aggression (RA), is a form of indirect bullying that uses social relationships to manipulate or harm others, such as isolating a student from her group of friends (social exclusion), threatening to stop talking to a friend (the ''silent treatment''), or spreading gossip and rumors. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, slurs, jokes, comments, or other offensive conduct relating to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic. Bullying, relational aggression (including cyber-bullying), and harassment will not be tolerated. Please use the forms below to report bullying.
