Kindness Week: Passport to Kindness
February 24-27
Each day is a new destination! Students will complete acts of kindness and collect passport stamps throughout the week. Students who complete their passports will earn a future dress-down pass (date TBD). Our final destination is Kindness Fest on Friday.
All Week — Caught Being Kind
Teachers and seniors will give kindness pins to students caught demonstrating acts of kindness. Each teacher will receive 4 pins, and seniors will receive 2 pins.
Tuesday (2/24) — Passport Launch
- Kindness Passports Distributed: Students receive passports and begin collecting stamps for completing daily acts of kindness.
- Kind Messages to Peers: Students will be randomly paired in S Period to write encouraging messages to one another. Messages will be reviewed and delivered Thursday.
Wednesday (2/25) — Spread Positivity
- Mirror Messages: Uplifting affirmations posted on bathroom mirrors around campus.
- Sidewalk Chalk Messages: Students share positive messages and inspirational quotes along the cafeteria walkway.
Thursday (2/26) — Celebrate Others
- Kindness Recognition Form: A schoolwide Google Form will allow students to anonymously recognize or “hype up” classmates, faculty, or staff. Shoutouts will be announced over the loudspeaker throughout the day.
- Peer Messages Delivered: Students receive their kind messages during S Period.
Friday (2/27) — Kindness Fest
Hosted by Student Council with activities including:
- Face painting by NAHS members
- Karaoke/music
- Obstacle course (Sponsored by STUCO)
- 360 Photo Booth,
- Dippin’ Dots (for purchase)
- Friendship bracelet making
- Yard games (Connect 4 and Jenga)
