HONORING OUR 2026 AWARD RECIPIENTS

Brenda and Deacon Drea Capaci, lifelong Louisianans, have been part of the Chapelle family since 1973. That year, Brenda joined the Business Department after interviewing with Sister Beatrice, an opportunity she never expected but now reflects on as her first true experience of Deus Providebit. Around the same time, she and Drea reconnected at a charismatic conference, beginning a four‑year journey of annulments, healing, and ultimately their marriage in 1977.

They began by blending their families—Drea with sons Eric and Brett, and Brenda with her son Bruce—and later welcomed two more children, Stacy and Kyle. Today, their united family proudly celebrates a legacy of Chapelle and Rummel graduates across generations. Continuing that tradition, their granddaughter Shayla graduated from Chapelle in 2023. Their immediate family now includes five children and their spouses, fourteen grandchildren with nine spouses, and fourteen great‑grandchildren. Including Drea and Brenda, their family count reaches an incredible forty‑nine.

Brenda has spent 53 years at Chapelle, teaching a wide range of Business courses and later serving as Director of Service Hours and Work Study. Drea entered Diaconate formation in 1982, was ordained in 1985, and has dedicated much of his ministry to Family Life, annulment work, and Marriage Prep. For the past 25 years, he has served as Chapelle’s Co‑Chaplain, with he and Brenda cherishing their years leading Senior Retreat together.

Both remain deeply involved in parish life, faith communities, and long‑standing prayer groups. Their family now totals 49 members, a testament to the blessings they attribute to God’s providence. In 2023, Brenda was honored as an Honorary Alumna, and together they are humbled to receive the 2025 Deus Providebit Award, grateful for the privilege of serving the Church and the Chapelle community for more than five decades.

A proud graduate of the Class of 2003, Lyndsey Manalla Dyle has always carried the spirit of Chapelle in her heart. A true legacy, Lyndsey follows in the footsteps of her mother, Leeann Roser Manalla ’82, and her aunts, Kim Roser Wetzel ’81 and Kelly Austin Roser ’87—women who helped set the foundation for her lifelong devotion to the school that shaped her.

After earning a volleyball scholarship to Spring Hill College, Lyndsey returned home in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, where she completed her degree at UNO in 2007. It wasn’t long before she found herself back where she belonged—at Chapelle. For five years, she poured her heart into her alma mater, serving as the 8th Grade/JV Volleyball Coach, and working across the Admissions, Alumnae, and Advancement departments. Her time on staff only strengthened her belief in the transformative power of the Chapelle community.

In 2011, Lyndsey began a successful career in the insurance industry and now serves as Territory Sales Manager for Louisiana and Texas with SageSure. Yet even as her professional achievements grew, her entrepreneurial spirit blossomed as well. In 2020, she founded Tookies NOLA Charcuterie, an artisan cheese company serving customers across the Greater New Orleans area.

That same year, Lyndsey embraced one of the most meaningful roles of her life: advocate. After her daughter Greer’s Autism diagnosis, Lyndsey committed herself to raising awareness, championing acceptance, and advocating for inclusion—especially within Catholic schools. Her voice has become a source of education, encouragement, and hope for many families in the community.

Lyndsey shines brightest as wife to her husband Chad, and mother to their children Grayson and Greer, and stepchildren Collin, Daphne, and Brendan. She remains actively involved across all five of her children’s schools.

Even after leaving as an employee in 2011, she remained deeply involved. She continued coaching volleyball through 2013, served on the Gala Committee, and served as class chair. Perhaps most notably, Lyndsey created the cherished Alumnae Decade Rally, an event she has chaired with tremendous passion and vision.

Lyndsey often says that being engaged in your school—during your time there and long after—is pivotal. Her encouragement is simple: stay active, stay connected, and always come back home to Chapelle.

Above all, Chapelle’s motto, Deus Providebit—God Will Provide, has guided Lyndsey throughout her life.

“I’ve carried this motto with me since my days at Chapelle. I truly believe that what you put into Chapelle, she will give you right back and then some. Chapelle isn’t just a place I went; it’s part of my identity. My mother and the women who taught me shaped who I am today, and I am forever grateful.”
