Alumna Spotlight: Jennie Viosca Graffeo ’90 💚 Chapelle is proud to spotlight Jennie Viosca Graffeo, Class of 1990, who continues to make an impact through her leadership and dedication in the professional world. Jennie is a valued member of the team at Lofton, where she recently reached an exciting milestone by strengthening the company’s partnership with a long‑standing client in Covington. As the client prepares to expand operations with a new office opening in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, they entrusted Jennie as their exclusive recruiting partner for key positions, including Shipping Clerks, IT, Clerical, and Pharmacy Technician roles. Her ability to build trust, cultivate relationships, and deliver results reflects both her professionalism and commitment to excellence. Being chosen as the sole recruiting partner for such an important expansion speaks volumes about the confidence her clients have in her expertise and integrity. Jennie’s accomplishments are a testament to the strong foundation of leadership, work ethic, and service that Chapelle women carry into every field. We are so proud to see her continuing to grow partnerships, open doors, and make a difference in our local community.

Vice President of the Special Olympics College Club at UL Last week, we celebrated Marissa Rinderle ’24, Founder & President of the Special Olympics College Club at UL Lafayette. Today, we are proud to spotlight the other half of that incredible partnership, Rachel Meariman ’23. When Special Olympics Louisiana began expanding its college club program, Marissa teamed up with Rachel to help bring the vision to life. Today, Rachel serves as Vice President of the Special Olympics College Club at UL, where she continues promoting inclusion through sports, friendship, and the celebration of all abilities. The club has already hosted a successful field day filled with activities for participants of all abilities and is planning even more exciting events next semester, including a basketball tournament, kickball game, and an outing at Rock ‘N’ Bowl. Rachel’s leadership doesn’t stop there. She is also the President of the Kinesiology Professional Association and serves as a mentor for the UL LIFE Program, supporting college students with disabilities in their academic, community, and career development. Rachel credits her time at Chapelle, especially as a member of the basketball team, with preparing her for these roles. Through athletics, she learned teamwork, accountability, responsibility, and communication skills that continue to shape her leadership style today. Her experience volunteering with Special Olympics while at Chapelle sparked the passion she now lives out in college. Together, Marissa and Rachel are building something truly special at UL, and we are so proud to see two Chipmunks leading with compassion.

Founder & President, Special Olympics College Club at UL Lafayette Chapelle is proud to spotlight Marissa Rinderle ’24, who is already making an incredible impact during her time at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Marissa is the Founder and President of the Special Olympics College Club at UL Lafayette, a student-run organization dedicated to creating meaningful connections between college students and individuals with disabilities through athletics and campus events. “I actually founded the club after Special Olympics Louisiana reached out to me in hopes of expanding the college club program,” Marissa shared. “Rachel Meariman ’23 and I collaborated to get it all started!” The Special Olympics College Club at UL provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to connect with college students through various athletic events. The mission is simple yet powerful: to promote inclusion on the UL campus through sports, friendship, and the celebration of all abilities. Marissa’s passion for inclusion is deeply rooted in her involvement with the UL LIFE Program, which is designed to give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to experience college life while furthering their education and life skills. “The LIFE Program has encouraged and prepared me to begin Special Olympics UL,” she said. In addition to leading the Special Olympics College Club, Marissa also serves as Vice President of the Kinesiology Professional Association, demonstrating her continued commitment to leadership and service. At Chapelle, Marissa served as a Student Ambassador, a role she credits with helping her grow as a communicator and leader. “Being an ambassador enhanced my communication and leadership skills, preparing me for the various roles I now have in college,” she shared. Marissa exemplifies the Chapelle mission by leading with compassion, courage, and a heart for service. We are so proud of the difference she is making and can’t wait to see how she continues to inspire inclusion and build community. Congratulations, Marissa! Your Chapelle family is cheering you on!

Alumna Spotlight: Karen Hassinger Virga ’87 💚 We are proud to celebrate Karen Hassinger Virga, Class of 1987, who was recently honored with the Credit Human Teacher Excellence Award, presented by Good Morning Louisiana. This well-deserved recognition highlights her decades of dedication to Catholic education and student leadership. Karen is completing her 34th year of teaching at St. Benilde School, where she has taught every subject to grades 5 through 8 over the years. While much of her career has focused on religion and math, she currently teaches 6th and 7th grade math and science. Beyond the classroom, she has coached for many years and has served as Athletic Director for the past several years. Her commitment to forming young people extends far beyond academics. Karen has long been involved in parish youth ministry, previously serving as Director of St. Catherine of Siena CYO and continuing to volunteer as a coach and chaperone. She remains active in her parish community and is a member of both national and Louisiana professional organizations for math and science educators. This summer, she will also serve as an adult advisor for the WorldStrides Junior National Young Leaders Conference, mentoring middle school student leaders from across the country. Karen credits Chapelle with helping form the strong foundation of faith and perseverance that guides her vocation today. As a Chipmunk athlete and student, she learned teamwork, resilience, and the importance of striving for excellence — lessons she now passes on to her own students. We are incredibly proud of Karen and the countless lives she has impacted through her ministry in education. Congratulations on this special honor, and thank you for continuing to live out our motto, Deus Providebit — God Will Provide.

Alumna Spotlight: Theresa Schembre Hebert ’97 We are proud to celebrate Theresa Schembre Hebert ’97, who has officially been named the new Principal of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, effective July 1, 2026. With 24 years in education, including 14 years in Catholic education, Theresa brings both experience and heart to her new role. Over the years, she has served as a middle school Math teacher, a dedicated Principal for three years, and most recently as the Assistant Principal at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton since the 2022–2023 school year. She also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, further equipping her to guide and inspire students, faculty, and families. Her leadership journey is especially meaningful as she follows in the footsteps of another Chapelle alumna, Joan Nastasi Kathmann ’74, the current Principal of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. What a powerful testament to Chapelle women leading the way in Catholic education. Theresa’s Chapelle legacy continues at home as well. She is the proud mom of Gabriella Hebert, Class of 2030, carrying the Green and White tradition into the next generation. Alumnae Induction 2026: Welcome to the Sisterhood 💚 On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Class of 2026 officially became part of the Archbishop Chapelle Alumnae Sisterhood during the Alumnae Induction Ceremony at Chateau Golf & Country Club in Kenner. The morning began with an opening prayer and brunch blessing led by Bonnie Perkins Jones ’75 and Macey Lane ’26, followed by a warm welcome from Alumnae Board Co‑President Tricia McDonnell Lara ’98. Generations of Chapelle women — from the Class of 1962 to 2026 — gathered together to celebrate this meaningful milestone. A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of Lyndsey Manalla Dyle ’03, the 2026 Alumna of the Year, introduced by Kelly Mullen Shepherd ’84. Her reflection reminded the soon‑to‑be graduates what it truly means to live out the Chapelle mission. During the Pinning Ceremony, led by Maria Cervini Eaton ’06 and Susan Chocheles Panzavecchia ’90, each senior received her alumnae pin — a symbol of lifelong loyalty to green and white. The Class of 2026 then recited the Alumnae Induction Oath, led by Judy Golemi Spadafora ’66 and Kelsey Doyle ’26, promising to uphold Chapelle’s Catholic formation, educational excellence, and noble ideals, always trusting in our motto: Deus Providebit — God Will Provide. The lighting of the Unity Candle, presented by Debbie Robert Vigo ’04, lit by Shannon Whitman Impastato ’96 and Catherine Jouet ’26, symbolized the bond between past, present, and future alumnae. Head of School Connie Leggio Dantagnan ’88 offered closing remarks before the ceremony concluded with prayer and a heartfelt singing of the Alma Mater — a powerful reminder that while their time as students is ending, their sisterhood is forever. “We walked as sisters, hand in hand. Now we step out, trusting God’s plan.” Welcome to the Sisterhood, Class of 2026. 💚

Celebrating Sisterhood: 5th Annual 60s & 70s Alumnae Spring Luncheon On Thursday, April 29, the spirit of Chapelle sisterhood was alive and well at the beautiful Ormond Manor Restaurant in Destrehan as we gathered for the 5th Annual Chapelle 60s & 70s Alumnae Spring Luncheon. Affectionately known as the 60s and 70s Spring Luncheon, this special tradition brings together alumnae from the Classes of 1960–1979 for an afternoon filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful reconnections. This year, 100 alumnae were in attendance — a wonderful testament to the lasting bonds formed at Archbishop Chapelle High School. From catching up on life’s milestones to reminiscing about cherished school memories, the room was filled with joy, pride, and the unmistakable warmth of the Chapelle family. A highlight of the afternoon was recognizing this year’s attendance winners. Congratulations to the Classes of: - 1975 - 1967 - 1969 Your class spirit continues to shine! As stories were shared and friendships rekindled, one thing was clear: the sisterhood formed decades ago remains as strong as ever. Events like the 60s & 70s Spring Luncheon remind us that once you are part of the Chapelle family, you are always part of it. We are already looking forward to next year’s gathering!

Class of 1966 Celebrates 60 Years 💚 On Saturday, April 25, the Archbishop Chapelle High School Class of 1966 gathered at Chateau Golf and Country Club to celebrate a very special milestone — their 60th reunion. The beautiful brunch setting provided the perfect backdrop for a morning filled with laughter, storytelling, and heartfelt reconnections. Classmates who had not seen one another in years picked up right where they left off, sharing memories of their days at Chapelle and reflecting on the lifelong friendships formed within its halls. The love these alumnae hold for their alma mater was evident throughout the celebration. Sixty years later, the bonds of sisterhood remain strong — a true testament to the lasting impact of a Chapelle education. A highlight of the gathering was the presentation of Emerald Society bracelets to members of the Class of 1966 who were unable to attend the Emerald Society Induction in February. It was a meaningful moment, allowing the class to celebrate this special honor together during their reunion weekend. We are so grateful to the Class of 1966 for continuing to stay connected and for representing the enduring spirit of Chapelle. Congratulations on 60 wonderful years of sisterhood! 💚

Campus Ministry Night: Keeping Christ at the Center On Thursday, April 30, students gathered for the final Campus Ministry Night of the school year. It was an evening centered on faith, fellowship, and preparing hearts for the summer ahead. Led by Director of Campus Ministry Emily Lannan, the night focused on a meaningful theme: How do we keep Jesus at the center of our lives during the summer when we are no longer in our normal routine? During the school year, students are surrounded by daily prayer, Theology classes, and the steady rhythm of faith-filled community. Summer can look different — and this night encouraged students to think intentionally about how they can continue growing in their relationship with Christ even outside the classroom. The evening began with good food and joyful fellowship before the event team introduced a creative and engaging twist on a classic game: Summer Pictionary. Each group had to guess the summer-themed object being drawn, but with a Chapelle spin: they also had to “preach” about the object, connecting it to their life with God (with a fun nod to current trends!). The activity sparked laughter while encouraging students to think deeper about how faith can be found in everyday moments. Mrs. Rodrigue then offered a thoughtful reflection, sharing practical and tangible ways students can stay close to Jesus throughout the summer months. From intentional prayer time to staying connected to faith communities, her message served as a reminder that our relationship with Christ doesn’t take a vacation. Students then gathered in small groups led by Campus Ministry leaders for discussion and encouragement, followed by a beautiful time of prayer. The night concluded with opportunities for Adoration, Confession, and Praise and Worship, allowing students to end the year grounded in God’s presence. As the final Campus Ministry Night of the year — and the last for Mrs. Lannan in her current role — the evening was especially meaningful. It was a celebration of a year of ministry, growth, and community, and a powerful reminder that wherever summer takes us, Christ goes with us.

Our Career Engagement Speaker Series brings Chapelle alumnae back to campus to share their professional experiences and career journeys with current students.

It’s an inspiring opportunity for Chipmunks to learn firsthand about different fields, ask questions, and gain insight into future career paths — all while connecting with alumnae who once walked the same halls. We love welcoming our graduates home to guide and encourage the next generation of Chapelle women!

Celebrating Those Who Serve: Volunteer Appreciation Party 💚 As we wrapped up a wonderful school year and welcomed the start of summer, we gathered for one of our favorite traditions — the Volunteer Appreciation Party. The evening was filled with good food, refreshing drinks, and even better company as we celebrated the incredible individuals who give so generously of their time and talents to Chapelle. This special night was simply our way of saying thank you for all they do to make our school community so special. Our volunteers are the heart behind so many of the moments that make Chapelle shine. From supporting events to cheering behind the scenes, their dedication and commitment truly makes a difference in the lives of our students and faculty. Each year, as a small token of our gratitude, we hold a blind drawing and select one volunteer family to receive half off their daughter’s tuition for the upcoming school year. We are excited to share that the Dubrock Family was chosen this year! Congratulations and thank you for all you do to help our school thrive. A sincere thank you to our: 💚Parents Club 💚Men’s Club 💚Grandparents Club 💚Gala Chairs and Committee 💚Golf Tournament Volunteers 💚Craft Fair Volunteers 💚Alumnae Volunteers 💚And the many others who served in countless ways throughout the year Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed. Because of you, our students experience a community rooted in generosity, faith, and sisterhood. Thank you for all you do for Chapelle. We are so grateful for each of you and look forward to another year of partnership and celebration ahead!

Both gifts reflect the deep gratitude we have for Archbishop Aymond and the legacy he will leave in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. We pray for joy and happiness as he enters his retirement! Honoring the Class of 1976 We were thrilled to welcome back the Class of 1976, celebrating their 50th anniversary. Looking Ahead: Incarnate Word Hall In her closing remarks, Head of School Connie Dantagnan shared exciting news about our future. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have raised $8 million toward our $10 million vision for Incarnate Word Hall. This summer marks the next phase of construction, bringing us closer to a sacred space dedicated to prayer, worship, and spiritual growth for generations to come. Founder’s Day reminded us that Chapelle is more than a school — it is a living testament to faith across generations. As we continue forward, we do so with gratitude for our past, confidence in our present, and hope for our future. Deus Providebit — God Will Provide.

Erin Black Comeaux ’99 Inspires Future Builders We were proud to welcome alumna Erin Black Comeaux ’99, Sector Leader – Commercial Construction at RNGD, LLC, as part of our Career Engagement Speaker Series. In her role, Erin is responsible for sourcing and leading commercial construction projects that are not multi-family (apartments) or hospitality (hotels). Her work helps bring to life the schools, retail spaces, offices, and public facilities that serve communities every day. Exploring Careers in Construction Erin introduced students to RNGD, a multifaceted company operating across the Southeast in four sectors: - Building - Steel - Infrastructure - Manufacturing From schools and data centers to retail and civic spaces, RNGD’s projects demonstrate how construction shapes skylines and strengthens communities. She emphasized that construction is more than what people see on a jobsite. The industry offers endless career paths — including project management, engineering, estimating, technology, finance, marketing, safety, and skilled trades. Whether a student enjoys hands-on work, leadership, problem-solving, or working with digital tools, there is a place for them in this field. Building the Future Erin also highlighted RNGD’s commitment to community impact through education, workforce development, and scholarships, reinforcing that construction is about building people and opportunities — not just structures. Her visit helped students see the wide range of possibilities available after graduation. We are grateful to Erin for sharing her journey and inspiring the next generation to consider careers that quite literally build the future.

Personal Finance Class Welcomes Guest Speakers to Conclude Its First Year This school year marked an exciting milestone at Archbishop Chapelle High School as we introduced Personal Finance as a new elective for juniors and seniors. This foundational course will officially become a required class for all juniors beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, reflecting our commitment to equipping students with real‑world financial skills that will serve them long after graduation. Throughout the semester, students explored essential financial topics including: • Writing checks and balancing a checkbook • Reconciling accounts and navigating digital banking • Sales tax, discounts, and consumer skills • Budgeting and filing taxes • Basics of credit, debt, and financial decision‑making • Evaluating education return on investment • Financial aid and college planning • Jobs, careers, and employment essentials • Insurance fundamentals • Investing basics The course is taught by Mrs. Stacy C. Woodward ’96, who partnered with Chapelle alumna Andrea Aleman Toro '09 and Edward Jones to strengthen and modernize the curriculum. Students engaged with interactive lessons through the EVERFI online platform, allowing them to apply financial concepts in practical, relevant ways. To conclude the course, Andrea and her husband, Daniel, visited as guest speakers, sharing their professional and academic journeys while introducing students to the “Rules of the Road” and current industry trends in personal finance. They also explained the role of a financial advisor and demonstrated real‑world tools—including using AI—to explore stock analysis and the time value of money. The session wrapped up with a Q&A and a special Chick‑fil‑A lunch generously provided by the speakers. We are thrilled to offer this important course and to prepare our students with knowledge they can begin applying in their daily lives today. At Chapelle, we remain committed to empowering our young women with the skills, confidence, and understanding they need to build a successful financial future.

ChipStart 2026: Welcoming the Class of 2031 💚 ChipStart is more than just an introduction to high school. It is the first step in a journey of sisterhood, faith, leadership, and confidence at Archbishop Chapelle High School. Over the course of two unforgettable weeks in June, the Class of 2031 officially began their Chapelle story. From the moment they checked in on the first morning, they were welcomed by Student Council, class officers, Ambassadors, faculty, and administrators who were eager to help them feel at home. Throughout ChipStart, our newest Chipmunks experienced a little bit of everything that makes Chapelle special. They learned school traditions, practiced cheers, brainstormed rally themes, and competed in friendly games that gave them a taste of the excitement of Rally season. They explored campus, met administrators, walked their schedules, and became familiar with the spaces where they will learn and grow over the next four years. Faith remained at the heart of it all. The class participated in a retreat experience and celebrated their very first Class Mass together, which is a meaningful milestone that grounded their high school journey in prayer and community. They learned Chapelle songs, reflected on what it means to be a young woman of faith, and closed each day in gratitude. Of course, ChipStart would not be complete without plenty of fun. From pep rallies and scavenger hunts to workouts, bonding games, off‑campus adventures, and a spirited class rally, laughter filled the halls. The Chippy Bucks auction and final celebration luncheon were the perfect way to end their time together, recognizing the friendships formed and memories made. Most importantly, ChipStart created connection. What began as a group of incoming 8th graders quickly became a class united in spirit and ready to take on high school together. The Class of 2031 has officially begun their Chapelle legacy, and we cannot wait to see how they grow, lead, and shine in the years ahead. Welcome home, Chipmunks.

Chapelle Students Attend LASC 2026 From May 31 – June 4, six Chapelle student leaders traveled to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana to attend the Louisiana Association of Student Councils (LASC) Workshop. They returned inspired, energized, and ready to lead. This year’s theme, “Sow, Grow, Lead,” centered around farming as a metaphor for leadership. Throughout the week, students focused on planting seeds of purpose, nurturing their individual strengths, and growing into impactful leaders for their school communities. Representing Chapelle at LASC 2026 were: Audrey Dubuc, 12th grade Victoria McCann, 12th grade AnnaClaire Occhipinti, 11th grade Lauren Delagardelle, 11th grade Sloan Boudoin, 11th grade Kasey Orlando, 10th grade During the week, our Chipmunks participated in interactive workshops, team-building activities, and leadership sessions designed to strengthen communication, collaboration, and service. Between fun games, meaningful discussions, and shared experiences with students from across Louisiana, lifelong friendships were formed. Sloan Boudoin, Student Council Executive Board Historian, shared one of her biggest takeaways from the week: “What I took away most was the positive environment and how seen and heard it made me feel. It was so eye-opening and refreshing to be in a place so supportive and welcoming. The inclusivity and love at LASC is truly like no other.” The environment at LASC encouraged authenticity, confidence, and servant leadership, which are values that align beautifully with Chapelle’s mission. Our six delegates are already planning how to “sow” what they learned into the Chapelle community this upcoming school year. With the multitude of lessons and leadership skills they gained, they are ready to help our campus continue to grow in spirit, unity, and purpose. We are so proud of these young women for investing in their leadership journeys and representing Chapelle so well. The seeds have been planted, and we cannot wait to see how they grow.

Presenting Our Gift to the Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center 💗💚 In April, Mrs. Benson personally invited our students to the Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center to present our Pink Month earnings to their leadership team. Walking into the Cancer Center with Mrs. Benson was a powerful experience for our students. It was more than just delivering a check. It was an opportunity to represent the heart of the Chapelle community and to see firsthand the impact of their efforts. Sharing that moment with the leadership team made the months of preparation and fundraising even more meaningful. Throughout Pink Month, our students worked tirelessly to raise funds in creative and spirited ways. They sold pink socks, the official Pink Month t-shirt, donuts, and pink lemonade, along with organizing other campus initiatives to support the cause. They also took time to write heartfelt notes and prayers of healing to oncology patients — messages that Mrs. Benson and her team truly loved and appreciated. Being able to stand together and formally present our donation was a beautiful reminder that small acts of generosity can come together to create something powerful. It was a proud day for our students and a reflection of Chapelle’s commitment to faith, compassion, and service. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support the patients and programs at the Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center and proud of our Chipmunks for living out our mission in such a meaningful way.
