We are honored to recognize them for their extraordinary legacy of faith and service. 2026 Alumna of the Year Lyndsey Manalla Dyle ’03 A proud legacy alumna, Lyndsey Manalla Dyle ’03 carries Chapelle in her heart everywhere she goes. After graduating, she returned home to her Alma Mater—serving in Admissions, Alumnae, Advancement, and as a coach, deepening her love for the Chapelle community and strengthening the sisterhood that shaped her. Lyndsey reflects beautifully on the impact Chapelle has had on her life: “Deus Providebit—God Will Provide... I’ve carried this motto with me since my days at Chapelle. I truly believe that what you put into Chapelle, she will give you right back and then some. Chapelle isn’t just a place I went; it’s part of my identity. My mother and the women who taught me at Chapelle shaped who I am today, and I am forever grateful.” Lyndsey continues to embody our values through her leadership, service, and loyalty to Chapelle. We invite our entire community to celebrate these outstanding honorees at the 2026 Emerald Gala on February 28, 2026. General Prayer Cards:

Our Chapelle Prayer Cards are sent on behalf of the school to any alumna in need of prayers—whether facing illness, hardship, or another difficult time. It’s a simple yet meaningful way to remind our Chapelle sisters that they are never alone and that their Chapelle family is praying for them.

    Memorial Prayer Cards

When a member of our Chapelle family is called home to God, we honor her life and legacy through a Chapelle Memorial Card. Sent to the family on behalf of the school, these cards let loved ones know that we are praying for them and for the eternal rest of the alumna’s soul. It’s our way of keeping every Chipmunk, past and present, close in faith and remembrance.

Chapelle Faculty & Staff Begin the Semester with Faith at Faculty Retreat ✨✝️ On January 5, the Chapelle Faculty and Staff gathered at Notre Dame Seminary for a meaningful and faith‑filled Faculty Retreat, beginning the second half of the 2025–2026 school year rooted in prayer, reflection, and renewal. The day was highlighted by a powerful talk from Father James Martin, who encouraged our faculty and staff to embrace the excitement and opportunities of the new semester with trust in the Lord. He reminded us that while the work ahead may be challenging, with faith in God, all things are possible—and that each of us is called to continue serving our students with joy, purpose, and hope. Father Martin also celebrated Mass with our community, allowing us to come together in worship and thanksgiving. The retreat included sacred time in Eucharistic Adoration, offering moments of quiet reflection and prayer before the Lord, as well as the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Confession. This retreat was truly a blessing—a chance to pause, reconnect spiritually, and refocus on our shared mission as educators in a Catholic community. As we move forward into the remainder of the school year, we do so refreshed, inspired, and confident in God’s providence. We are grateful for this beautiful start to the semester and are excited for all that lies ahead for our school, our students, and our Chapelle team. Deus Providebit… God Will Provide.

Chapelle Students Recognized in the Keep Christ in Christmas Poem Contest The Chapelle community is excited to celebrate two gifted writers whose heartfelt words stood out in this year’s Keep Christ in Christmas Poem Contest! Sophie Taylor earned 1st place in the 6th–8th grade division, capturing the true meaning of the season with a beautifully written poem that reflected faith, joy, and the spirit of Christmas. In the 9th–12th grade division, Angelica Bendeck received 1st place, impressing judges with her thoughtful and inspiring piece that highlighted the central message of Christ’s love during the Christmas season. Both students were honored for their creativity, expression of faith, and dedication to keeping Christ at the heart of Christmas. Congratulations, Sophie and Angelica! Your words remind us of the beauty, hope, and sacred meaning of this holy season. Sophie Taylor' Poem (8th Grade): In the glow of the season, When the lights softly gleam, let us not lose sight of the heart of the dream. Beyond gifts and glitter, Beyond songs that play, lies the love of a savior born on that day. Keep Christ in Christmas, let His light shine through, in kindness, mercy, in all that we do. For the true gift of Christmas was not wrapped in gold, but in swaddling cloth, in a story long told. Angelica Bendeck (10th Grade): When Christmas lights begin to glow, And joyful carols softly flow, Let everyone remember still, The holy gift of God's will. For in a manger, low and bare, The Savior came to meet us there, Not wrapped in gold, nor crowned in fame, But clothed in love, with a humble name. To Keep Christ in Christmas days, Let kindness guide your words and ways, Serve with joy, forgive others and pray, And walk with him each passing day. So, keep his light, so purse, so bright, On this lovely Christmas night.

Our Career Engagement Speaker Series brings Chapelle alumnae back to campus to share their professional experiences and career journeys with current students.

It’s an inspiring opportunity for Chipmunks to learn firsthand about different fields, ask questions, and gain insight into future career paths — all while connecting with alumnae who once walked the same halls. We love welcoming our graduates home to guide and encourage the next generation of Chapelle women!

Personal Finance Class Welcomes Guest Speakers to Conclude Its First Year This school year marked an exciting milestone at Archbishop Chapelle High School as we introduced Personal Finance as a new elective for juniors and seniors. This foundational course will officially become a required class for all juniors beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, reflecting our commitment to equipping students with real‑world financial skills that will serve them long after graduation. Throughout the semester, students explored essential financial topics including: • Writing checks and balancing a checkbook • Reconciling accounts and navigating digital banking • Sales tax, discounts, and consumer skills • Budgeting and filing taxes • Basics of credit, debt, and financial decision‑making • Evaluating education return on investment • Financial aid and college planning • Jobs, careers, and employment essentials • Insurance fundamentals • Investing basics The course is taught by Mrs. Stacy C. Woodward ’96, who partnered with Chapelle alumna Andrea Aleman Toro '09 and Edward Jones to strengthen and modernize the curriculum. Students engaged with interactive lessons through the EVERFI online platform, allowing them to apply financial concepts in practical, relevant ways. To conclude the course, Andrea and her husband, Daniel, visited as guest speakers, sharing their professional and academic journeys while introducing students to the “Rules of the Road” and current industry trends in personal finance. They also explained the role of a financial advisor and demonstrated real‑world tools—including using AI—to explore stock analysis and the time value of money. The session wrapped up with a Q&A and a special Chick‑fil‑A lunch generously provided by the speakers. We are thrilled to offer this important course and to prepare our students with knowledge they can begin applying in their daily lives today. At Chapelle, we remain committed to empowering our young women with the skills, confidence, and understanding they need to build a successful financial future.

STEM Takes Flight with Alumna Speaker Shelby Frazier ’20! ✈️ The STEM Club got a high-flying dose of inspiration this week, thanks to alumna Shelby Frazier ’20, who returned to Chapelle to share her passion for aviation and engineering! Shelby led a fun, interactive presentation all about airplanes and their inner workings, teaching students how lift, drag, and thrust work together to keep planes soaring through the sky. After learning the science behind flight, the students put their knowledge to the test by designing and creating their own paper airplanes — aiming to see whose plane could travel the farthest! The results were filled with creativity, friendly competition, and lots of laughter. We’re so proud of Shelby for continuing to represent Chapelle’s values of Faith, Tradition, and Excellence in her field, and for inspiring our students to reach new heights — literally!

Career Engagement Spotlight: Jan Mau Hill ’81 💚✨ Our Career Engagement Speaker, Jan Mau Hill ’81, reminds us that faith and flexibility can lead to incredible journeys! 🌟 Jan is a talented fiction author, having published 12 novels — including a four-book young adult series and eight (and counting!) other novels in the works. Before becoming a full-time writer in 2019, Jan built an impressive career in the professional world, working in advertising at a Fortune 200 agency and in corporate marketing within the food service industry. However, she felt called to take a leap of faith and embrace her passion for storytelling — a decision that allowed her to live her dream as a published author. In her talk, Jan shared powerful wisdom with our students: “Career choices often change with age and interest — nothing in life is set in stone. Follow your path with God’s grace, and it will lead you exactly where you need to be.” 🙏 Jan’s story beautifully illustrates that success isn’t always a straight line — sometimes, with faith and courage, new chapters can lead to the most fulfilling destinations. 💚

The Word Shares the Excitement for Incarnate Word Hall Ahead of #iGiveCatholic Day 💚✨ In the spirit of community, generosity, and Chapelle pride, members of The Word, Archbishop Chapelle High School’s official student newspaper, set out this week to capture the voices behind the excitement for Incarnate Word Hall—our future Chapel and Theology wing. Students interviewed alumnae, teachers, and fellow Chipmunks to ask one simple question: “How excited are you for Incarnate Word Hall?” The responses were overflowing with enthusiasm. From alumnae eager to see a new sacred space on campus, to teachers thrilled for the spiritual and educational opportunities the building will bring, to students imagining the impact on future generations—everyone shared a deep sense of pride and anticipation. Their interviews weren’t just about gathering reactions. The Word created this feature to help spread awareness and inspire support for #iGiveCatholic, a day dedicated to uplifting Catholic communities through generosity. By highlighting the shared excitement for Incarnate Word Hall, they helped show just how meaningful this project is to the entire Chapelle family. Chapelle Shares Gratitude Through 2025 Thanksgiving Baskets 🦃🧺 The spirit of giving was alive and overflowing at Archbishop Chapelle High School this Thanksgiving season! As part of our annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive, students, faculty, and staff worked together to create beautiful baskets filled with food and essentials for families in need. This year, the baskets were donated to the St. Mary Magdalen Food Pantry as well as six other families in our Chapelle community. Each Burrow, along with members of the faculty and staff, completed a full basket — totaling over 40 baskets donated! In addition, the Chapelle family collected more than 600 items as part of the drive. This service effort beautifully reflects the mission of our Matthew 25 Service Program, which reminds us of Christ’s words: “...we see you hungry and feed you.” We are so proud of our Chipmunks for living out their faith through compassion, generosity, and action. Because of your kindness, many families will experience comfort, hope, and joy this Thanksgiving season.
