Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to share a recent feature from Arete Scholars highlighting the extraordinary career and upcoming retirement of our longtime Financial Director, Michelle Lambert. For 38 years, Michelle has faithfully stewarded the financial health of our school while walking closely with generations of families. Her work has never been simply about numbers; it has been about people. Through her guidance of families receiving Arete scholarships, Michelle ensured that the process was not just accessible, but compassionate and dignified. She was known for taking the extra step, personally guiding families through applications and offering steady support every step of the way. Her leadership behind the scenes has helped make visible growth possible on our campus. From expanded programs and increasing enrollment to new facilities and continued mission-driven excellence, Michelle’s careful stewardship has played a vital role in Chapelle’s progress over nearly four decades. In 2024, she and her husband were honored with the Deus Providebit Award, recognizing their outstanding commitment and service to our school community. As Michelle prepares to retire at the end of this school year, we are deeply grateful for her loyalty, fairness, integrity, and compassion. Her legacy will continue through the systems she built, the relationships she nurtured, and the countless students whose dreams were made possible through her dedication. We invite our Chapelle community to read the full Arete Scholars feature and join us in celebrating Michelle’s remarkable impact and the path forward for Archbishop Chapelle High School.

Senior Prom 2026: A Night to Remember On April 25, the Class of 2026 celebrated Senior Prom at the Hilton New Orleans Airport, enjoying a beautiful evening filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories. Dressed to impress, our seniors gathered together one last time for one of the most anticipated milestones of their high school journey. The dance floor was full all night as friends celebrated the bonds they’ve built over the past five years. From photos and sweet moments to nonstop dancing, it was truly a magical evening. But the celebration didn’t end there. After prom, students returned to campus for our beloved annual tradition: Prom Fest. For the past 28 years, Chapelle has hosted this safe and exciting after-party, giving seniors and their dates the chance to continue the fun right here at school. Throughout the night, students had opportunities to win amazing prizes, including TVs, laptops, dorm décor, and more. Prom Fest is one of those unforgettable Chapelle experiences that seniors talk about for years to come. It’s a night filled with energy, surprises, and community! We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the many volunteers who helped make both Senior Prom and Prom Fest such a tremendous success. Your time, generosity, and dedication made this night one our seniors will cherish forever.

The evening was filled with good food, refreshing drinks, and even better company as we celebrated the incredible individuals who give so generously of their time and talents to Chapelle. From supporting events to cheering behind the scenes, their dedication and commitment truly makes a difference in the lives of our students and faculty. We are excited to share that the Dubrock Family was chosen this year! Congratulations and thank you for all you do to help our school thrive. A sincere thank you to our: 💚Parents Club 💚Men’s Club 💚Grandparents Club 💚Gala Chairs and Committee 💚Golf Tournament Volunteers 💚Craft Fair Volunteers 💚Alumnae Volunteers 💚And the many others who served in countless ways throughout the year Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed.
