Alumna Spotlight: Erin Black Comeaux ’99 Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to spotlight Erin Black Comeaux ’99, who was recently selected as a featured speaker for the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) Women in Leadership Panel, held in partnership with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce in honor of Women’s History Month. The annual panel brings together influential women leaders from across the region for a conversation centered on authenticity, mentorship, confidence, and leading with purpose. The discussion highlighted the power of supporting one another and navigating career growth with integrity and determination. Erin serves as the Commercial Sector Leader at RNGD, where she oversees commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, she is known for her hands-on leadership style, strategic problem-solving, and commitment to collaboration. She manages coordination, scheduling, and budget oversight while fostering strong communication with clients and project partners. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Construction Management, Erin has built a career defined by hard work, resilience, and a “never give up” mentality — values that echo the spirit of Chapelle women. She is also deeply committed to mentoring and coaching her team, investing in the next generation of leaders. We are inspired to see a Chapelle alumna using her voice and expertise to impact the business community and uplift other women in leadership.  Congratulations, Erin! Alumnae Spotlight: Lisa Knecht Cardinale ’08 🏐💚 Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to celebrate Lisa Knecht Cardinale ’08, Head Volleyball Coach at St. Scholastica, who was recently named Division II Coach of the Year by the Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association — an honor voted on by her fellow coaches. “Winning a coach award when it is voted on by coaches definitely means something,” Lisa shared. “I am truly honored by this award. The volleyball community in Louisiana is truly something special.” She also shared that one of her favorite parts of the evening was honoring the many talented players and coaches in attendance — and receiving her award from one of her favorite coaches, Jodee Pulizzano, Chapelle’s Head Volleyball Coach. Lisa’s dedication, leadership, and passion for the game continue to make an impact on her athletes and throughout the volleyball community. We are so proud to see a Chipmunk leading with excellence and heart.  Congratulations, Lisa! Your Chapelle family is cheering you on always.

Alumna Spotlight: Susan Chocheles Panzavecchia ’90 For Susan Chocheles Panzavecchia ’90, Chapelle is more than a workplace...it’s home.  Since returning to campus in August 2016, Susan has served in several important leadership roles. She began in Advancement as Special Events Director before moving to the academic side in 2017 as Assistant Principal. In 2020, she stepped into her current role as Associate Head of School, where she oversees the academic program, the Dean of Academics, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and student activities. While her responsibilities are extensive, Susan says the heart of her work is simple: the students. “We have the most amazing students,” she shares. Her mission each day is to instill a strong work ethic, drive, and a clear path to success for every young woman who walks the halls of Chapelle. Just as importantly, she wants every student to feel loved, seen, and supported. To her, Chapelle is truly a family, and she is deeply invested not only in her students’ success while they are here, but in the bright futures that await them beyond graduation. Susan also wants fellow alumnae to know that Chapelle continues to provide what it always has at its best: academic excellence within a nurturing, faith-filled environment. With a rigorous and engaging curriculum designed to prepare students for college and their careers, she is proud to be part of the resurgence and momentum the school is experiencing. As a proud member of the Class of 1990, Susan embodies the enduring spirit of Chapelle — leadership rooted in faith, dedication to excellence, and a genuine love for the sisterhood that makes this community so special.
