Have you ever thought about what it's like working at the same place as your family? Even though the whole Chapelle community is a family, Mr. Taix states, “Chapelle is such an amazing place and everyone here is like a big family already, so I think working with a spouse just enriches and expands the environment.” Mrs. Kracjer also explains the greatness about working with her husband “I love working with Coach K! It is fun for the two of us to see each other in a different environment, doing work we are both passionate about. I always have a lunch buddy, someone to work through problems with, and a sounding board for ideas. I have married my best friend, so now I get to have my greatest support system at my job!” Chapelle also has lots of relatives and spouses working together here. Many mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, and sisters are here as colleagues. Not only do they come here as a workforce together, but a lot of these great workers have returned here as an alumni.
Family plays a big role in the Chapelle community. We as sisters are so glad to be able to see true sisters come together in a work community. Mrs. Beth states about her sister Mrs. Capaci, “It is good to spend time with her, especially now that we are both getting old, you see them in a whole different perspective.” Moving on from sisters, Mrs. Connie Dantagnan says it has been an amazing experience working with her daughter stating, “ I have loved sharing a different part of Chapelle with my daughter. When she was a student, there were many things that I couldn't share with her or have her join in but now that she is a teacher and a colleague, we now share this experience together. I have also enjoyed watching her grow into a mature young lady and I love seeing what she is accomplishing not only in the classroom, but also with Student Council. She is enjoying her time here as an educator just as she did as a student.” This shows the motherly atmosphere that the faculty gives to not only their daughters but also the students here. As you see in the Chapelle community, we prioritize our family aspect.
