Laughter and team spirit filled the courts this week as some members of the Chapelle Tennis Team decided to surprise Coach Beth and Coach Kim with a hilarious and heartwarming “Moo Moo Monday” for practice! 🐮 Dressed in colorful and comfy moo moo outfits, the players brought smiles to everyone’s faces — proving that at Chapelle, teamwork goes beyond the game. Whether it’s on the court or off, this team knows how to have fun while staying united in true Chipmunk spirit! 💚🎾 Here’s to more laughter, love, and volleys all season long!

Our first annual Foreign Language Festival was a hit! Members of our National French Honor Society contributed by bringing French food, such as macarons, crêpes, and croissants, which were enjoyed by all. One student, Lauren de la Gardelle, created a French festival banner that hung over our presentation of the treats. Some of the activities we had included dressing up and taking fun pictures with friends, enjoying delicious treats, wearing funny mustaches, and playing a game called The Stolen Jewels from the Louvre. The person who found the crown won a delicious Bourdin cheese. Members of our National Spanish Honor Society contributed by bringing Spanish food, such as chips & queso and guacamole, which our students could not get enough of. The activity that they shared with the student body was Zumba. So many students enjoyed getting some exercise while doing some Spanish dance moves and listening to Spanish music. We loved our time with @gina.zumba.nola. Members of our National Junior Classical League contributed by bringing an ancient Greek and Roman inspired photobooth! Students had an opportunity to take pictures with friends while learning more about Greek and Roman culture. Members also brought Spanish food and French food to collaborate with our modern languages. All three organizations, as well as Chips Around Japan, displayed their club boards to share their cultures and inspire the student body. Overall, our goal for the first Foreign Language Festival was simply to spread the beauty of different cultures to the entire student body, and we definitely achieved that!

Chips in the Spotlight! The stage lights were bright, the music was magical, and the talent was undeniable as the Brother Martin Dionysians brought the beloved musical Into the Woods to life — featuring the incredible talents of three of our very own Chapelle Chipmunks! Grace Wilson '26 captured hearts as the determined and charming Baker’s Wife, Lilly Tremé '27 brought energy and humor to her role as Little Red Riding Hood, and Isabelle LeBouef '27 showcased her versatility playing both Granny and Sleeping Beauty. The performance was a true display of dedication, creativity, and teamwork — and we are so proud of these students for sharing their gifts and representing Chapelle with such excellence and spirit! Congratulations to Grace, Lilly, and Isabelle on an outstanding performance and for reminding us all that Chapelle talent truly shines on and off the stage!

Sweet Moments in the Baking Club! The Chapelle Baking Club filled the air with delicious aromas and even sweeter smiles during their most recent meeting! 💚 Members rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen, whipping up brownies, pumpkin spice cookies, and rice crispy treats — the perfect combination of chocolatey, cozy, and classic. The afternoon was full of laughter, teamwork, and taste-testing (of course!). The Baking Club continues to be a fun way for students to bond, learn new recipes, and share their Chapelle spirit — one treat at a time! 💚 We can’t wait to see (and taste!) what they bake up next!

Chapelle Duck Scavenger Hunt🧡 The Chapelle community had a quacking good time celebrating Coach JoDee, who was recently named Smalls Sliders’ Small Town Hero! To help mark this amazing recognition, Drew Brees and his Smalls Sliders team gifted Chapelle with a fun surprise — a campus-wide duck hunt! Scattered across Chapelle’s campus were mini ducks, each with a special prize on the bottom such as free queso, free drink, or free side of fries. And hidden among them was one very special giant duck that offered the ultimate reward: free Smalls Sliders for an entire month! The lucky finder of the golden duck was 10th grader Sarah Cosentino! 🏆 Congratulations, Sarah — and great job to all the students who joined the fun and found ducks throughout the day! It was a joyful (and delicious!) way to celebrate Coach JoDee’s incredible honor and show how one person’s inspirational leadership can bring so much positivity to our community. 💚
