BELOW are answers to some common questions
What do I do if I need to make up a test or quiz? How long do I have to make it up?
You have 3 days from the day you return to make-up a test you have missed. However, if you left the day of the test, you are required to make it up the day you return. More detailed information can be found in the handbook!
What do I do when I am absent?
The absent student's parent must call the Archbishop Chapelle High School Front Office by 9AM to let us know the student will not be present that day. The office phone number is 504-467-3105.
If the student ends up being absent for more than one day, the student is expected to reach out to their teachers for make-up work instructions.
Where am I allowed to charge my computer?
There are computer chargers available to students in the St. Joan of Arc (The ARC) before school, after school, and during lunch.
All students are also allowed to bring their own small portable charger that plugs directly into their computer.
Where/When can I print?
Students are allowed to print in the St. Joan of Arc Center. You can replenish your account balance on the Gulf Coast Bank portal.
Who do I talk to if I'm having tech issues with my Chromebook?
Email Mr. Ray Taix (rtaix@archbishopchapelle.org) or stop by his office (2nd floor of the Main Building by the Library walkway)
Where can I go in the mornings before the bell?
The Cafeteria opens each morning at 6:30AM until the first bell rings at 7:50AM. The ARC is open from 7AM - 7:50AM. Supervision is provided!
Where can I go in the afternoons after the bell?
Students are allowed to stay in the ARC until 5PM after the bell rings at the end of the day. Supervision is provided! After 5PM, no students are allowed to stay in the ARC.
Who do I ask about service hours?
Mrs. Brenda Capaci is over all Work Study and Service Hours. You can email her at bcapaci@archbishopchapelle.org or stop by her office (right next to Mrs. Panzavecchia's office!)
Who do I ask about scheduling?
The Counseling Department works with Mrs. Panzavecchia to create the perfect schedule for you. If you have any questions regarding your current or future schedule, they would be the best people to ask!
Who do I talk to if I have an academics specific question?
If your teacher does not know the answer to your question, they may refer you to Mrs. Rohli, our Dean of Academics, or Mr. Wooderson, our Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
