Of all that Archbishop Chapelle High School offers to our students and their families, the most important is a fundamental promise: to know and love every young lady for who she is.

Our promise means that we teach and mentor each student mindful of their interests and strengths, both inside and beyond the classroom. It means that we help each student on her way to becoming her true, her best, and her most fully realized self in a warm environment rooted in Catholicism.

As we guide our students to grow into confident and capable women, we know they will find a home in these halls. They will build bonds that will last a lifetime and carry fond memories with them always. We invite you to learn more about our home and see how truly special it is to be a Chip.

Chapelle Basketball Hosts Annual Summer Camp This summer, our Chapelle Basketball Program had the joy of welcoming over 40 young athletes to campus for our annual Basketball Summer Camp — and what a fantastic few days it was! For three action-packed days, campers worked on drills, developed new skills, and built confidence on the court. From ball handling and shooting fundamentals to teamwork and sportsmanship, each session was filled with energy, encouragement, and plenty of smiles. One of the highlights of camp was seeing our Chapelle players step into leadership roles. They loved sharing their passion for the game, mentoring the next generation, and creating an atmosphere that was both competitive and fun. Watching our current athletes inspire these young players was a beautiful reminder of what Chapelle athletics is all about — faith, teamwork, and heart. We are so grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s camp such a success. The future of basketball is bright, and we are already counting down the days until next summer!

Chapelle Begins the School Year with Mass and Consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Archbishop Chapelle High School began the new school year in the most meaningful way, gathering together as a school community for a beautiful Mass and the consecration of our school to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. As we enter a new year of learning, growth, faith, and sisterhood, this consecration serves as a powerful reminder that the Sacred Heart of Jesus is our refuge and guide. We pray that His love continues to lead us, protect us, and strengthen our community throughout the year ahead. The morning was filled with several special Chapelle traditions. Our new students received their Chapelle pins and Bibles, marking an important step in their journey as Chipmunks. The senior sweaters were also blessed, celebrating the Class of 2027 as they begin their final year at Chapelle. One of the most memorable moments of the Mass came when the Class of 2027 sang their Senior Song, “Let Us Stay Home,” for the very first time. Their voices filled the space with emotion and joy, making the morning even more special for students, faculty, staff, and families. It was a beautiful beginning to the school year and a reminder of the faith, tradition, and love that make Chapelle such a special place to call home. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! Deus Providebit, God Will Provide!

Victoria McCann Named Best High School Volleyball Player in Louisiana by MaxPreps Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to celebrate senior Victoria McCann ’27 on being named the Best High School Volleyball Player in the State of Louisiana by MaxPreps heading into the 2026 season. In its national feature, “High school volleyball: Best player in all 50 states heading into the 2026 season,” MaxPreps highlighted top volleyball players from across the country, recognizing one standout athlete from each state. Victoria was selected as Louisiana’s top player, an incredible honor that reflects her talent, dedication, and impact on the court. MaxPreps recognized Victoria, a 6-foot outside hitter, noting that she “heads into 2026 having surpassed the 1,000-kill mark for her career.” This milestone places her among an elite group of high school volleyball players and speaks to her consistency, work ethic, and leadership throughout her Chapelle career. For Victoria and the Archbishop Chapelle High School volleyball program, this recognition is a tremendous achievement. Being chosen as the top player in Louisiana by a national high school sports outlet is a testament not only to Victoria’s individual success, but also to the strength of Chapelle Athletics and the competitive spirit of our student-athletes. Victoria has been a powerful presence for the Chipmunks, leading by example through her athletic ability and commitment to her teammates. As she enters her senior season, she continues to represent Chapelle with excellence both on and off the court. Archbishop Chapelle High School congratulates Victoria on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to cheering her on throughout the 2026 volleyball season. Class of 2011 Celebrates 15-Year Meet-Up Archbishop Chapelle High School was excited to see members of the Class of 2011 come together to celebrate 15 years since graduating from Chapelle! The class gathered at Hog’s Alley in Metairie for a fun reunion filled with laughter, memories, and Chapelle sisterhood. It was a great turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many alumnae reconnecting and celebrating the friendships that began during their time at Chapelle. Events like these are a beautiful reminder that the Chapelle bond does not end at graduation. Whether it has been five years, fifteen years, or more, the friendships, traditions, and memories made at Chapelle continue to bring our alumnae back together. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening special, and congratulations to the Class of 2011 on celebrating this milestone reunion!
