Chapelle Students Honored with PSAT National Recognition Awards We are thrilled to announce that several of our Archbishop Chapelle High School students have earned the prestigious PSAT National Recognition Award ! This incredible achievement highlights their academic excellence, dedication, and commitment to success. The PSAT National Recognition Program , awarded by the College Board, celebrates high-achieving students who excel on standardized tests and in challenging coursework. This honor not only acknowledges their hard work but also provides a valuable addition to their college applications, helping them stand out to universities across the nation. What is the PSAT National Recognition Program? The PSAT National Recognition Program is an academic award (not a scholarship) that recognizes students for their exceptional performance. Eligibility is determined by a combination of: PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 scores AP exam scores GPA In addition to its traditional honors, the program has expanded to include: School Recognition Awards for top-performing students in their high schools. First-Generation Recognition Awards for students on track to be the first in their family to complete college. How Our Students Qualified Students at Chapelle qualified for this award through two pathways: Scoring in the top 10% nationally on the PSAT/NMSQT (10th or 11th grade) or PSAT 10. Achieving a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams taken in 8th, 9th, and/or 10th grade . These accomplishments reflect not only their individual talent and determination but also the supportive environment of academic excellence at Chapelle. Welcoming Future Chipmunks to Future Scholars Night 💚🌟 On October 1, Archbishop Chapelle High School welcomed prospective families to campus for Future Scholars Night, an engaging evening created for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls and their families. This event gave Future Chipmunks the opportunity to explore Chapelle’s academic offerings, participate in hands-on activities, and learn more about the many ways our students are encouraged to grow, discover, and succeed. An Evening of Discovery The night began with a warm welcome from our Associate Head of School, who introduced families to the heart of Chapelle’s academic experience. From there, students and parents separated into groups for a night designed to give each of them a meaningful look at life as a Chapelle student. While parents heard more about Chapelle’s curriculum, programs, and student support, Future Chipmunks had the chance to experience learning in action through interactive sessions across campus. Learning Comes to Life Throughout the evening, prospective students rotated through a variety of stations that highlighted the creativity, innovation, and academic excellence found at Chapelle. In Future Focus, students reflected on their goals and dreams while creating vision boards and learning how Chapelle helps prepare students for success beyond high school. During the STEM session, guests explored robotics, 3D printing, and hands-on science activities in the ARC, giving them a glimpse into the exciting ways Chapelle students problem-solve, create, and experiment. The Tech and Media station offered a look into how students use technology, storytelling, and creativity through Chapelle’s digital media opportunities. Students also learned about Experiential Learning, where education extends beyond the classroom. This session highlighted the electives, field trips, and real-world learning experiences available at Chapelle. Families also had the opportunity to hear about the exciting travel opportunities Chapelle offers, including student trips abroad in Europe, where learning continues through culture, history, faith, and global exploration. Each station helped Future Chipmunks see how Chapelle encourages students to think boldly, ask questions, and discover their passions. Valuable Information for Parents While their daughters participated in activities, parents met with Chapelle faculty and staff to learn more about academic programs, course offerings, scholarships, and resources available to students. These conversations gave families a deeper understanding of how Chapelle supports each young woman throughout her high school journey. Parents also received helpful materials about scholarships and course studies, allowing them to better envision their daughter’s future as a Chapelle student. A Bright Future Ahead  Future Scholars Night was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the faith-filled, supportive, and academically challenging environment that makes Chapelle such a special place. We loved welcoming so many curious and talented young women to campus and sharing the many opportunities that await them as Future Chipmunks. The Class of 2027 Has a Nice RING to it!💍 On Thursday, August 20, the seniors attended their Ring Mass at Divine Mercy Church in Kenner, Louisiana. Ring Mass is a cherished tradition marking a huge moment in their Chapelle journey. Before Mass began, members of the Class of 2027 presented their class symbols: Senior Class Flower - Sierra Corales Senior Motto - Marcella Casanova Senior Colors - Emma Flynn Chapelle Diploma - Gabrielle Bush Chapelle Alma Mater - Molly Tusa 2027 Class Unity Candle Votive - Lyla Pelle Chapelle Senior Ring - Alivia Nevels Senior Sweater - Cassie Nguyen Bible - Allyson Dardar Statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Emily LeBlanc Senior Class Rings - Alyssa Canfill, Gia Chester, Madison Pansano, Ja'Layah Small, and Allisson Suazo Caballero After Mass concluded, the Class of 2027's official Ring Ceremony began. During this special ceremony, the students received their senior rings, some of which were worn by their mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and other important Chipmunks in their lives. Other seniors are starting their own legacy which holds so much excitement in itself! Mrs. Connie Dantagnan '88 (Chapelle's Head of School), Shannon Impastato '96 (Chapelle's Alumnae Director) and Senior Class President, Mia Impastato, presented the Class of 2027 Votive to the Chapelle Unity Candle. The Class of 2027 is the 62nd graduating class of Archbishop Chapelle High School. All 62 classes are united to our current students through our charism of Deus Providebit, through our school traditions, and through our mission of excellence in spiritual, academic, and social formation. The Unity Candle symbolizes the over 14,000 women who have graduated from Chapelle. Join us in congratulating this amazing class! There are so many more sweet moments to come this year, and we are praying for them every step of the way!

Victoria McCann Named Best High School Volleyball Player in Louisiana by MaxPreps Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to celebrate senior Victoria McCann ’27 on being named the Best High School Volleyball Player in the State of Louisiana by MaxPreps heading into the 2026 season. In its national feature, “High school volleyball: Best player in all 50 states heading into the 2026 season,” MaxPreps highlighted top volleyball players from across the country, recognizing one standout athlete from each state. Victoria was selected as Louisiana’s top player, an incredible honor that reflects her talent, dedication, and impact on the court. MaxPreps recognized Victoria, a 6-foot outside hitter, noting that she “heads into 2026 having surpassed the 1,000-kill mark for her career.” This milestone places her among an elite group of high school volleyball players and speaks to her consistency, work ethic, and leadership throughout her Chapelle career. For Victoria and the Archbishop Chapelle High School volleyball program, this recognition is a tremendous achievement. Being chosen as the top player in Louisiana by a national high school sports outlet is a testament not only to Victoria’s individual success, but also to the strength of Chapelle Athletics and the competitive spirit of our student-athletes. Victoria has been a powerful presence for the Chipmunks, leading by example through her athletic ability and commitment to her teammates. As she enters her senior season, she continues to represent Chapelle with excellence both on and off the court. Archbishop Chapelle High School congratulates Victoria on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to cheering her on throughout the 2026 volleyball season. We are excited to invite you to our Annual Legacy Mass & Lunch on Tuesday, October 13, 2026! Deadline to register is October 6th! This special Chapelle tradition celebrates the generations of women who remain Loyal to Green & White. We invite all alumnae mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and aunts of current Chapelle students to join us as we celebrate the special legacy you share. Legacy Mass & Lunch Tuesday, October 13, 2026 Check-In: 9:45 AM | Cafeteria Please arrive no later than 10:10 AM Mass: 10:25 AM Parking: Behind the Gym Following Mass, we will gather for a boxed lunch and group Legacy photo. Barberito Photography will also be present to take additional photos that will be available for purchase. One of our favorite Legacy Mass traditions is the passing down of the senior sweater. If possible, we ask alumnae to wear or bring your Chapelle senior sweater to Mass. Following Mass, your daughter, granddaughter, sister, or niece will have the special privilege of wearing your sweater for the remainder of the school day.
