At the beginning of August, the Chapelle Volleyball team hosted a Parents vs. Players Tournament to kick off the 2025-2026 season. It was the perfect way for all the team members and families to get to know each other before the fun really begins on the Court this season. Thank you to Coach Jodee and the Volleyball Program for organizing this spectacular event, and thank you to every parent and family member who showed up. Here's to a great season🏐💚👏

Congratulations to Chapelle Alumna, Julie Gaudet '96!  We are so excited for Chapelle Alumna Julie Gaudet '96 as she begins her first year as Principal for St. Benilde School in Metairie, Louisiana. Julie’s journey is a true testament to the values and leadership instilled at Archbishop Chapelle High School. As a proud Chapelle alumna, she embodies the spirit of faith, determination, and excellence that defines our community. Her connection to Chapelle doesn’t stop there—Julie is also the proud mom of a recent graduate! Her daughter Morgan Gaudet, a member of the Class of 2024 , recently graduated, marking another special chapter in her family’s Chapelle story. We couldn’t be prouder to see one of our own leading the next generation of students and making such an impact in Catholic education. Julie’s leadership, dedication, and passion will undoubtedly inspire the St. Benilde community just as she has inspired us here at Chapelle. Congratulations, Julie! The Class of 2026 Has a Nice RING to it!💍 On Wednesday, August 20, the seniors attended their Ring Mass at Divine Mercy Church in Kenner, Louisiana. Ring Mass is a cherished tradition marking a huge moment in their Chapelle journey. Before Mass began, members of the Class of 2026 presented their class symbols: Senior Class Flower - Blythe Bonnaffons Senior Motto - Lucy Banister Senior Colors - Caroline LaHatte Chapelle Diploma - Chloe Tujague Chapelle Alma Mater - Raegan Tuttle 2026 Class Unity Candle Votive - Shelby Williams Chapelle Senior Ring - Olivia Wurster Senior Sweater - Drue Murray Bible - Samantha LeCompte Statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Kelsie Schmidt Senior Class Rings - Kali Barber, Samantha Fairchild, Jena Gaudet, Keira Kissinger, and Allie Mixon After Mass concluded, the Class of 2026's official Ring Ceremony began. During this special ceremony, the students received their senior rings, some of which were worn by their mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and other important Chipmunks in their lives. Other seniors are starting their own legacy which holds so much excitement in itself! Mrs. Connie Dantagnan '88 and Senior Class President, Cate Jouet, presented the Class of 2026 Votive to the Chapelle Unity Candle. The Class of 2026 is the 61st graduating class of Archbishop Chapelle High School. All 61 classes are united to our current students through our charism of Deus Providebit, through our school traditions, and through our mission of excellence in spiritual, academic, and social formation. The Unity Candle symbolizes the over 14,000 women who have graduated from Chapelle. Join us in congratulating this amazing class! There are so many more sweet moments to come this year, and we are praying for them every step of the way!

We are thrilled to celebrate Kaleigh Piper for her incredible accomplishments! Recently, Kaleigh was selected to represent Louisiana at her most recent competition, a testament to her hard work, talent, and dedication. Not only did Kaleigh make her state proud, but she also earned the title of #1 in Louisiana! Her success didn’t stop there—after competing in the Regional Championships, she rose to the top as the #1 competitor in the entire region. This outstanding achievement highlights Kaleigh’s skill, determination, and commitment to excellence. Her dedication inspires everyone in the Chapelle community, and we are so proud to have her representing our school, state, and region on such a high level. Congratulations, Kaleigh! Welcome, Mollie Montgomery, Our New Mission Advisor! We are thrilled to introduce Mollie Montgomery as Chapelle's new Mission Advisor ! Mollie brings a passion for faith, service, and education to this important role, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on campus. Here’s what Mollie shared about her journey to Chapelle: "My name is Mollie Montgomery, and I’m excited to be serving at Chapelle as the Mission Advisor. I moved to New Orleans from Mississippi about a year ago. My Catholic education was one of the greatest gifts my parents gave me—it was during that time that I grew in my Catholic identity and discovered a deep joy in serving others. Little did I know when I came on campus last March for the St. Joseph Altar and stole a lemon, God would provide... just like the school’s motto. When I saw this role open, I knew God was allowing me the opportunity to be a witness to these young women and to walk with them in their own journeys of faith. In this role, I will help ensure that all aspects of school life align with our mission, Catholic social teaching, and the values of the Church. I will also coordinate the school’s service program and Liturgies. In collaboration with Emily Lannan, our Campus Minister, I will work to foster meaningful encounters with Christ for our students, faculty, and staff, nurturing a faith-filled community rooted in service, prayer, and spiritual growth." As Mission Advisor, Mollie will play a vital role in ensuring that Chapelle continues to live out its mission through faith, service, and community. From coordinating Liturgies and service programs to fostering spiritual growth, Mollie is ready to help our students deepen their faith and embrace their role as women of God. This prestigious honor highlights their dedication both on the court and in the classroom. 💚 Chloe Arnold '26 💚 Ava Landry '26 💚 Lillian Weaver '26 To qualify for Academic Nomination, student-athletes must: Maintain grades above an A average. Be members of an athletic team for two or more years .  These seniors have shown incredible commitment to their studies while excelling as key members of the volleyball team. Their hard work, time management, and leadership set an inspiring example for all Chipmunks!
