Last year the Archbishop Chapelle High School Community was able to assist several families in our community for the holidays! With the holidays approaching, we want to be able to assist families in our Chapelle community again this year! We want to be able to support families that have a Chapelle connection by giving them a fruitful Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday. Please fill out this form by October 31st if your family is in need or you know another family who has a Chapelle affiliation that is in need. The form is anonymous.
*While we try to help all the families submitted, the administration takes into account who has received help previously*
Thanksgiving Baskets
Homerooms on campus collect food items to be used for Thanksgiving dinner. All items are placed in a basket that families are able to receive in order to ensure they have a fruitful thanksgiving.
Giving Tree
Students make ornaments each year that our hung on our giving tree. These ornaments are labeled with gifts that help our Chapelle community families that are in need of assistance during the Holiday season. All grade levels participate in penny wars during the month of September. The money raised from this event goes towards purchasing giving tree gifts, however, it does not cover the cost for all gifts needed.
If you are able to assist in addition to the penny wars, please consider taking an ornament off the Giving tree. Your daughter may begin picking these ornaments the week of November 17, 2025.
We want to spread holiday cheer this season!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of the counselors.

👗 Totally Twisted Tuesday at Chapelle! 👠🎩 Things got fashionable on campus during Chapelle’s Totally Twisted Tuesday dress-down day! Students and faculty took the theme to heart, showing up in the wildest, wackiest outfits they could find — from mismatched patterns and funky accessories to upside-down fashion moments that had everyone smiling. 💚✨ The morning's highlight was the Totally Twisted Fashion Show, where each grade’s Top 5 Best Dressed strutted their stuff down the “runway.” Laughter, music, and applause filled the air as the crowd cheered on their classmates’ creativity and flair for fun. Our star-studded panel of judges — Mr. Giovingo, Ms. Miller, Mrs. Pickett, Mr. McCurley, and Mrs. Hook — had the tough job of choosing just one winner from so many bold looks. After much deliberation (and plenty of giggles), they crowned Freshman Bella Pelitire as Chapelle’s #1 Best-Dressed! 👑

Walking with Faith: Honoring the Month of the Rosary 🙏 To close out the month of October — the Month of the Rosary — our entire Chapelle community came together in a beautiful display of faith and unity. All theology classes participated in a walking rosary around campus, with faculty and staff joining in prayer as well. As students moved from one decade to the next, the campus filled with peaceful reflection and reverence. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer and the special devotion to the Blessed Mother during this holy month. 💚 The walking rosary served not only as a spiritual reflection but also as a meaningful way to strengthen our shared faith community. Through prayer and reflection, we were reminded that, just as each bead of the rosary is connected, so too are we — as one Chapelle family rooted in faith. 🕊️

Respect Life Month: Sharing Hope Through Words 💌✨ October is Respect Life Month, a time to honor the dignity and value of every human life. To celebrate, the Chips for Life Club participated in an affirmation card–writing activity for the Women’s New Life Clinic. Our students wrote over 100 heartfelt cards — in both English and Spanish — offering words of encouragement, love, and hope to the women served by the clinic. Each message was a reminder that kindness and compassion can make a lasting impact. We’re so proud of our Chips for Life members for living out Chapelle’s mission through acts of faith and service!

Campus Ministry Celebrates All Saints Day in Style ✨😇🍕 On All Saints Day, our incredible Campus Ministry Team brought faith and fun together in true Chapelle fashion — by dressing up as their favorite Catholic saints! The halls were filled with joy, creativity, and a wonderful spirit of holiness as students proudly shared the stories of the saints who inspire them most. Faith, Fun, and Fellowship 💚 The celebration didn’t stop at costumes! Our Campus Ministry members gathered for a special pizza party and a round of Saints Trivia, testing their knowledge while learning even more about the holy men and women who serve as role models of faith. Each student brought her own personality to life through her saint — whether it was St. Therese the Little Flower, St. Joan of Arc, or St. Francis of Assisi — demonstrating the many beautiful paths to holiness. A Beautiful Witness of Faith 🙏 It was heartwarming to see the excitement in our students as they shared their saints’ stories and reflected on how they strive to live out those virtues in their own lives. This celebration reminded everyone on campus that sainthood isn’t out of reach — it’s something we’re all called to every day. Thank You, Campus Ministry! 💫 Thank you to our Campus Ministry Team for bringing faith to life in such creative and meaningful ways. Your joy and devotion continue to make Chapelle a place where faith flourishes!

🩷🕺 VOOBOO 2025: A Celebration of Spirit, Sisterhood, and Pure Joy! 🕺🩷 There’s no day quite like VOOBOO at Archbishop Chapelle High School! Every year, our entire school community comes together for this beloved Chapelle tradition — an outdoor “festival” packed with music, laughter, and unforgettable performances. This year’s celebration, VOOBOO 2025, was one for the books! From creative costumes to incredible choreography, every group brought their energy and enthusiasm to the stage, reminding us what makes Chapelle such a special place. Performances That Stole the Show 🎤💃 The day featured standout performances from across our campus community, including: - Sophomore Class Officers as Justin Timberlake 🎶 - Junior Class Officers as Bruno Mars ✨ - Senior Class Officers as Beyoncé 👑 - Chapelle & Rummel Executive Boards as Teen Beach Movie 🏖️ - Plus, some incredible surprise acts from our faculty and staff! From pop icons to beach vibes, the stage came alive with school spirit and talent, filling our courtyard with laughter and applause. A Day to Remember 💚 VOOBOO isn’t just about performances—it’s about community, sisterhood, and celebrating the joy of being a Chipmunk. With students and teachers side by side, the event captured everything we love about Chapelle: faith, friendship, and fun. As the music faded and the day came to a close, one thing was clear—there’s nothing quite like the spirit of Chapelle. Until Next Year, VOOBOO! 💃🌟 We’re so grateful for everyone who made VOOBOO 2025 such a success—from our performers and planners to our supportive faculty and cheering crowd. We pray that everyone gets to experience a sisterhood like Chapelle. 💚🐿️
Sudden Impact: A Powerful Lesson in Safe Driving 🚗💚 Today, Archbishop Chapelle High School hosted the Sudden Impact Mock Crash, an emotional and eye-opening demonstration that brought the harsh realities of impaired and distracted driving to life for our students. As sirens blared and first responders arrived on the scene, students witnessed the tragic aftermath of a fictional car crash — a scene that felt all too real. The wreckage, the silence that followed, and the emotion on the faces of those involved served as a powerful reminder: one decision can change everything. Student Participants - Sophie Fay ’27 – drunk driver - Kendall Decourt ’27 – injured passenger - Sierra Corales ’27 – sober driver - McKenzie Verges ’27 – narrator - Brianna Borne ’27 – letter read to deceased friend - Gabrielle Bush – deceased passenger Each student portrayed their role with authenticity and compassion, helping their peers truly understand the devastating ripple effects of one moment of distraction or impairment. A Lesson That Lasts This event wasn’t about fear — it was about awareness. It was a call to responsibility, emphasizing that every time you get behind the wheel, you hold lives in your hands. Thank You A heartfelt thank-you to our students, faculty, first responders, and community partners who helped make this impactful experience possible. Because of efforts like this, our students walk away not only more informed but also more committed to making safe, smart choices behind the wheel. Together, we can help save lives. 💚🐿️

A Spook-tacular Day at Chapelle! 🍭🎃 Each year, we have some of our favorite guests on campus to trick or treat—St. Therese, of course!! The elementary school students hop on Chapelle buses and ride over to campus for an afternoon of costumes, candy, and laughter with our Chapelle faculty and students. We are so thankful for this partnership, and we feel blessed to host this event each Halloween season. This tradition is one of our favorites!
