This class is what sparked my interest in the legal field and law enforcement. She loves seeing the progress the school has made since her graduation and is excited to see what the future holds. Kelly Hibbs Bassil ’96 Kelly serves as a Detective with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and is also a Reservist in the United States Navy ⚓. It’s amazing to see the growth and improvement to so many areas of the school that have happened over the years, with still more to come.” Kelly reflects on the ways Chapelle prepared her for her career, emphasizing the values and skills she learned as a student: “ACHS had great teachers when I was there, and they made learning fun. They instilled dedication, determination, hard work, and motivation to overcome and work through anything. Chapelle paved the path even more as we all grew, with long-term friendships and family.” Kelly’s journey from Chapelle student to Detective and Navy Reservist is a testament to the strength, resilience, and values instilled in her during her time at Chapelle. A Legacy of Service and Dedication Both Carly and Kelly, along with Julia Hoggatt Grace ’92, embody the mission of Archbishop Chapelle High School. Walking with Faith: Honoring the Month of the Rosary 🙏 To close out the month of October — the Month of the Rosary — our entire Chapelle community came together in a beautiful display of faith and unity. All theology classes participated in a walking rosary around campus, with faculty and staff joining in prayer as well. As students moved from one decade to the next, the campus filled with peaceful reflection and reverence. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer and the special devotion to the Blessed Mother during this holy month. 💚 The walking rosary served not only as a spiritual reflection but also as a meaningful way to strengthen our shared faith community. Through prayer and reflection, we were reminded that, just as each bead of the rosary is connected, so too are we — as one Chapelle family rooted in faith. 🕊️

  • Event Sign Up for Visitors on Campus

In light of recent events around our country, we will be increasing security around our campus. While these measures may be of some inconvenience, I want to reiterate that our number one priority is the safety of the young ladies on this campus.

Events will no longer just be open. EVERY EVENT (pep rallies, masses etc.) will require you to digitally sign up via a link that will be found in Chipmunk Tracks. If you are not signed up, then you will have to check in at the front office.

Each event may look different focusing on the safety of our students, visitors, and employees. Please be patient as we work out this new system.

  • Bullying/Harassment Policy

Bullying is a distinctive pattern of repeatedly and deliberately harming and humiliating others and is characterized by a power imbalance between the two parties. Bullying includes, but is not limited to physical or verbal aggression, relational aggression, or emotional aggression (teasing, threatening, and intimidating others). Relational aggression (RA), is a form of indirect bullying that uses social relationships to manipulate or harm others, such as isolating a student from her group of friends (social exclusion), threatening to stop talking to a friend (the ''silent treatment''), or spreading gossip and rumors. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, slurs, jokes, comments, or other offensive conduct relating to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic. Bullying, relational aggression (including cyber-bullying), and harassment will not be tolerated. Please use the forms below to report bullying.
