On August 15, Chapelle students who serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion or who attended Belize Mission this summer attended "Fete-Dieu Du Mississipi," a historic Euchariastic Procession via boat that started in Baton Rouge and traveled down the Mississippi River to end at the French Quarter, where there was Benediction and the blessing of the city of New Orleans. Students knelt in adoration as they saw the Blessed Sacrament reach the city and then followed the procession from the boat into the Cathedral.
Seniors Taylor Mateu and Cadance Corcoran both shared that, as they were walking behind the Eucharist, it really felt like they were walking with Jesus. We are so happy to be able to experience moments like these in our beautiful city with our amazing students
