CLICK FOR PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES
Last year, we launched our international mission trip for the first time in our school history. In collaboration with Archbishop Rummel High School, we continue the Belize Mission as we serve the community of Punta Gorda, Belize. We invite you to become a Belize Mission Partner through your prayerful and financial support. With your help, students at both Rummel and Chapelle will make a lasting impact on the communities they serve. We will keep you updated with our progress, prayer intentions, and the success of our mission. Here is some of the work you can support on this mission:

Our mission includes two main forms of apostolic work: evangelization of the Catholics in Punta Gorda and infrastructure improvements for their schools or churches.

The Catholics in the southern coast of Belize have very few priests - two for the entire region which includes 35 catholic schools and 30 mission churches. The majority of the students who attend Catholic schools do not know Jesus or the Catholic faith. We hope to share our Catholic faith with the children of these communities to help them encounter our Lord and his message of salvation. In order to facilitate a youth retreat or Bible camp, we need materials such as school supplies, games and sports equipment, teaching aids, bibles and rosaries. We expect this cost to be approximately $1000.

We will also participate in infrastructure improvements for the local community. Due to limited resources and funding, the Catholic schools and churches suffer greatly. As we approach the mission date, more details on the specifics of these infrastructure projects will become available. We expect our costs for these projects to be approximately $4,000.

We also hope to provide a financial donation to both the St. Peter Claver Parish as well as the local community we work with during our time in Punta Gorda.

Most importantly, we need your prayers. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the true director of this mission. As Jesus Christ says in John 15:8, “apart from me you can do nothing.” We trust in the providence of God that He will make this mission successful according to His plan. In all we do, we lay it before Him for His glory!
