​Incoming 8th Graders for the 2023-2024 School Year

NOVEMBER 2022

  • November 9 -  Office of Catholic Schools Admissions Applications (also known as application cards) will be posted online and distributed to Catholic elementary schools.
  • November 11 -  Catholic school students will return completed form to Catholic elementary school principal.
  • November 15 - The Catholic elementary schools will send the application forms and the student records to the Selected High School.​ These forms records include: Office of Catholic Schools application/card, transcripts, standardized test scores,  and report cards for the first quarter.
  • November 30 - The Archbishop Chapelle High School Online Application must be submitted by 12:00PM.​

JANUARY 2023

  • January 7 - Students attend High School Academic Assessment Day at Chapelle. Check-in begins at 7:30AM, and the assessment begins promptly at 8:00AM.  
  • January 17-19 - Prospective student interviews are held with students and guardians. Information on scheduling interviews will be included in the December applicant mailing. 

FEBRUARY 2023

  • February 7 - ​Families of non-accepted students and Elementary school principals will be notified of non-acceptance.
  • February 17 - Applicants are notified of Admissions decisions.

8th Grade Applicant Checklist

  • Indicate Chapelle as your school of choice on your application card (available November 9, 2022)
  • Fill out the Archbishop Chapelle High School online application.
  • Demonstrate a successful academic record in elementary school
  • Have a consistent attendance record in elementary school
  • Have elementary school standardized test scores which reveal that the applicant has the ability to successfully complete the college preparatory curriculum of Archbishop Chapelle High School
  • Receive a favorable recommendations from elementary school (Catholic grammar school students do not need to collect this, non-Catholic grammar school students will submit this through their letters of recommendation)
