| On October 16, the Environmental Science students traveled to the Challenger Learning Center in Baton Rouge. The Challenger Learning Center is part of the Louisiana Art and Science Museum. The Environmental Science class taught by Mrs. JoAnn Haydel, is an elective open to 9th-12th graders. Mrs. Haydel explained the purpose of the trip was to assess science and math content and skills learned in the classroom through a space simulation in which students studied the Earth's environment from space. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
