Raider Band Christmas Concert

The Raider Band Christmas Concert was held on the evning of December 6 and the morning of December 7 in the Chapelle gym. 

 The program consisted of the Symphonic Band playing the following musical elections:  Christmas Fanfares- Todd Stalter, directed by Dr. Nicholas Compagno; African Bell Carol- R. W. Smith, directed by Ms. B.J. McCarter; Away in a Manger- Chip Davis Mannheim Steamroller, directed by Dr. Nicholas Compagno; and Christmas Classics- J. Curnow, directed by Mr. Cole LeMay.

The percussion ensemble directed by Ms. B.J. McCarter included faculty members along with percussionist to perform the traditional Christmas arrangement Sleigh Ride.  The Raider Jazz Ensemble directed by Mr. Cole LeMay performed several Big Band Christmas arrangements to close the program.

The Raider band is under the direction of Ms. B.J. McCarter, Mr. Cole LeMay and Dr. Nicholas Compagno. more pictures
