Back To School Liturgy celebrated on the Feast of the Assumption

Msgr. Bob Massett, ACHS Chaplain, celebrated the Back-to-School Liturgy on Monday, August 15, in the gym with Deacon Drea Capaci assisting.

Student Council President Kelsey Doucet ’12 welcomed the students and faculty. The readings were said by Emily Laurent ‘12 and Catherine Owers ‘12. Ashlyn Croy ‘11 led the prayers of the faithful. During the morning mass, Principal Cathy Yaeger asked the students to follow the profile of a Chapelle student as outlined in their handbooks. She encouraged them to be respectful of Chapelle, of each other, and of themselves. The Impressions, led by Choir Director Kathryn Claverie ‘95, shared their musical talent.

The Campus Ministry Executive Board, the Special Ministers of Holy Communion, the Student Council E-Board and the Class Officers were recognized and received their pins and a blessing. Looking spectacular in their blue sweaters, the Class of 2012 received a special blessing from Father Bob.

The Student Council Officers led the Alma Mater to conclude the assembly. more pictures
